FAQ'S

Do I need to book and how do I pay? Spaces are limited, so it is unlikely that walk-ins can be accommodated, so it's better to book to avoid disappointment. Call or mail me to book. Payment is needed in advance to secure your spot. Payment can be made to my account with Starling Bank – John Bloomfield. Choose Personal not Business Sort Code 60-83-71 Account number 73545464 or via the paypal link near the top of the page Refund Policy. Refunds up to 7 days before event

What's included in the cost? The package includes two edited high resolution images, chosen from a gallery sent to you following your shoot. If you want a magazine style cover made up there is an additional charge for the time involved. This will vary depending on whether you are happy for one of my pre made ones or want something specific. I will have 2 background colours with me and we can shoot against both

Can I purchase additional images and order prints? Of course! You are under no obligation but if 2 just isn’t enough you can purchase more high resolution files at a discounted price of £20 per image or we can agree a price for all of the images. I love to see the images printed so let me know if I can help with this. We can look at wall art, albums, magazine covers or products like key rings, cushions or coasters.

My dog is very nervous - can I still attend? Every allocated slot is just for your dog/dogs but there will generally be other dogs in the vicinity as other customers may be around. If you know your dog to be especially shy, nervous or reactive then maybe it's best that you book a solo session with me at my home or yours. These sessions are a little quicker than my regular studio sets, but we still have time to let the dogs get used to new sights, sounds, smells and equipment. The sessions use flash studio lights which the majority of dogs are more than fine with. It obviously does help if they have a basic sit and stay (even if the stay is very short!) Your dog can stay on the lead if you prefer and we can use the magic of photoshop to edit this out! Most dogs really enjoy the ‘sit, stay, treat’ aspect of the shoot and see it as a game. If your dog shows signs of distress or is visibly uncomfortable with the situation we will stop the shoot. In these circumstances I am happy to offer a refund or schedule a solo session at a discount

Can I be in the shot with my dog? With these shortened sessions I really need to concentrate on your dog so let’s book a longer session if you want to be in the shot!

Timings - what do I need to know? Please be on time for your session! I will try my best to accommodate you if you are running a little late, but it will impact on the next doggie, so please be aware of this, as it will potentially shorten your slot. Equally, I hope not to keep you waiting, but dogs will be dogs and sometimes things run a little behind. Each session lasts up to 30 minutes, but if we get all the shots we need in 20 minutes, that's perfect – I won’t make you stay and you can head off for a drink bite to eat or a nice walk!

Do I need to bring anything? We do use treats to try and encourage some reactions – if your pup if allergic or fussy please bring some treats they particularly like. Equally if you want your dog to sport a cravat or bow tie then bring it along.

Do you have any other questions or would like to chat? Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the session, or want to chat before committing. I'm always happy to help as much as possible with anything you need to know or are unsure of!
